Equipment can be purchased inexpensively or sourced from your kitchen. You will need to buy some powdered ingredients, which I detail fully.
You don’t have to be a small business owner or entrepreneur to the skills of natural dyeing into your life. This course is for anyone wanting to take a deep dive into the techniques & process of natural dyeing with support & guidance.
It's illegal to pick plants in my town, can I use other sources of natural colour?
You can forage wild dye in your locality or order dye plants or powders online. I cover this in the course and provide an extensive list of dye plant options.
I don't want to use Alum, do you suggest alternatives?
Yes, I do an in-depth module on mordanting, through 18 easy-to-follow lessons, I explain the alternatives & provide instructions on the most common methods.
Is this course relevant if I live elsewhere & we have different plants?
Yes, the dye plants are only one part of a more extensive process. While plants may differ, there is enough relevant cross-over & substantial teaching to be applicable.
What's the difference between this course & your lower priced beginner course?
I am torn between this & the beginner course, please help!
