Meet Your Tutor
Hi, I’m Kathryn, a natural dyer & teacher with over 15 years of experience working with plants, fibre, and natural colour.
When I first began, I felt the same frustrations many beginners do: inconsistent results, confusion around mordants, and too much conflicting information. It took years of experimentation and practice before the process truly clicked. That clarity changed everything.
Today, natural dyeing is at the heart of my creative practice, and I teach the clear, reliable process I wish I’d had at the beginning, so you don’t have to guess your way through it.
Through this course, I guide you step by step, helping you develop both technical skill and a deeper relationship with natural colour, so you can work independently, creatively, and with confidence.
