The En Plein Air Retreat blends art, painting, and natural dyeing in one of the most picturesque locations in Greece. Blakely Little will be your painting instructor. She is an artist, illustrator, and all-around wonderful human. She will guide you through various techniques and approaches to help you articulate and express yourself through this medium.

Allegra Pomilio, the founder and art director of Mèlisses & another beautiful human brings a unique blend of hospitality, gastronomy, photography, and visual art to Andros. Born and raised in Abruzzo, Italy, she opened Mèlisses, creating a haven for travelers, creatives and epicures to slow down and embrace the Mediterranean lifestyle. Featured in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and Condé Nast Traveller, Allegra’s second home has evolved into a cherished creative retreat. Each year, she and her team host curated gatherings to explore the island’s wonders from new perspectives, continually inspiring and attracting like-minded souls from around the world.

I’ll teach you how to work with plant dyes to create beautiful naturally dyed textiles. We’ll go through the natural dyeing process from start to finish using a combination of traditional dyes & locally foraged sources of natural colour to create a palette unique to this experience & the Island of Andros.
